Creating a Warm and Inviting Online Home for the Community
A local church and faith community is all about connection, warmth, and making everyone feel like they belong the moment they walk through the door. However, if a congregation's website feels outdated or confusing, it can accidentally make people hesitate to visit in person. We completely redesigned the online presence for Community of Christ - Thornapple to match the genuinely welcoming spirit of their real-world community. We traded old, hard-to-read layouts for a beautiful, bright, and peaceful design that instantly communicates their open-door values and makes every online visitor feel right at home.
Making It Simple to Connect, Attend, and Grow Together
A great community website needs to be a practical, friendly guide for both lifelong members and new families who are looking for a place to connect. We organized the new platform so that anyone can find gathering times, upcoming local events, and community resources without any frustrating guesswork. By creating a smooth, simple layout that looks and works perfectly on both smartphones and computers, we removed the barriers to getting involved. The new site makes it completely effortless for neighbors to reach out, see what is happening, and take part in local fellowship.
