Client review

"Our old website was really hard to navigate, and potential students were constantly getting confused trying to find our class schedules or figure out how to sign up. Capital Web Development completely turned our school around. They took our photography curriculum and organized it into a gorgeous, incredibly simple website that takes all the guesswork out of enrolling. Our workshop sign-ups have jumped significantly, and our students keep telling us how much they love the new look."

— Mark Chamberlin, Founder at SmarterPics

About the project

Helping Aspiring Photographers Move Beyond "Auto" Mode

SmarterPics is a wonderful photography school dedicated to helping people master their cameras and take breathtaking pictures. However, learning professional photography can easily feel intimidating, with students often getting lost in a maze of confusing technical talk about settings, lighting, and gear. We completely redesigned their website to break down those barriers. Instead of a stiff, overly complicated academic layout, we built a warm, visually inspiring online campus. Now, the second a student lands on the page, they are greeted by gorgeous imagery and encouraging, straightforward words that make them feel excited and confident about unlocking their creative potential.

Simplifying the Journey from Browsing to Booking Classes

A great school needs a website that makes finding and signing up for the perfect class completely effortless. Whether someone is a total beginner wanting a quick weekend workshop or a hobbyist looking to learn advanced editing, they shouldn’t have to guess how to enroll. We organized the entire SmarterPics course catalog into simple, clear learning paths that anyone can understand. By cleaning up the schedule and building a smooth, hassle-free booking experience, we removed all the traditional online friction. The website now acts as a welcoming guide that effortlessly turns passionate camera owners into eager, registered students.
